Students in a Celebrate Your Wild Woman, Wise Woman Workshop. They used a variety of fabric fibers, beads,and found objects. They also learned hand felting and basic decorative stitching to create their little art doll .  The little dolls were one of a kind beauties whimsical , magical and wonderful..The ladies were so happy with their little creations... Other  fiber workshops soon so stay tuned.. 

Students learned how to mix color values and use what they learned in an abstract flower painting   in honor of Spring. Mixing colors and creating color values as well as learning about color theory is a strong foundation in painting. plus it is magical! To mix colors to really "see"colors for the very first time is exciting! Our next series will be in acrylic techniques and a study of flowers at Weymoth Garden. The students will observe, draw take digital photos of flowers as reference for their paintings.

May my art be an alchemy of creativity and speak to others with its visual language of color and form. May I be an open and receptive channel for the Creative Source of all that is created and express It all that I am and do today. My Life is my art and I am the artist of my life.

Something new is being birthed within me as it lies quivering with life like a tiny fetus not yet formed but conscious of its being . It is my small self awaiting to be born into the greater Self. My Self becoming

Of coarse, I am driven by my own passion to create but we all need to be inspired! My art dolls are created beginning with the form which is three pipe cleaners wrapped on fabric strips. Her dress is scarves in strips and flower applique. Her hair is dyed wool. I used grape and strawberry Koolaid to dye her hair. I make these little dolls in a series. some are goddesses, some are fairies and others are angels and Tattered Rose and Funky Fashions  and Wild Women dolls. They are fun,  wild whimsical dolls meant to bring a little joy and giggles to the owner.
